Why is the prototype designed this way?

We have ended up with the current choice of regions because it involves a minimum volume of data that helps the speed of the response. User-specified regions would require much heavier data usage and slow down the prototype.

The objective of this prototype is to provide information about the climate model quality/differences, and it is not meant for detailed analysis of future climate trends.

It would be good to include other data such as reanalysis products and gridded data, which will be a part of the final Copernicus Climate Data Storage. But this is outside the scope of our current project which involves setting up and testing this prototype.
